Lingo Away AI is designed to operate 100% offline. All artificial intelligence processing and translation occurs locally on your device.3. Device Permissions
To function properly, the App requests access to the following device features:Microphone: Required for real-time voice translation. Audio data is processed locally on your device and is not recorded, saved, or transmitted to us or any third parties.Camera: Required for visual text translation (e.g., reading menus or signs). Images are processed locally on your device for text extraction and are not saved or uploaded to the cloud.4. Third-Party Services & Language Models
Because the App operates primarily offline, we do not integrate third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising frameworks that collect your personal data. The App does utilize Google ML Kit to power its on-device machine learning and translation features. All translation processing happens locally on your device, meaning your voice, text, and images are not sent to the cloud for translation. The App will only connect to the internet occasionally to download or update the necessary language models from Google's servers. Google ML Kit does not collect, store, or transmit your personal translation data. For more information on how Google handles data, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.5. Children’s Privacy
